On 18 June Trustee Karen Morgan presented a cheque for £500 to Shirley and Julie of the Cotswold Sculptors Association: Stroud & Dursley Hub. They wish to hold three free full day art workshops and a drop in session during an exhibition they have organised at the Jenner Museum in Berkeley. The exhibition runs from April to September 2025.
They applied to the HCG Charitable Trust for a grant to help with the purchase of materials and the firing of ceramics as well as administration and teaching costs for the workshops, which will support the Jenner Education Programme. The aim is to involve children with additional needs who have barriers to education and community involvement. The CSA Hub is liaising with several schools in Gloucestershire about who would benefit most from the workshops, which will give participants an opportunity to take part in Art based activities in a supportive and creative environment.
