In 2015 the Honourable Company's Charitable Trust provided a second grant of £2,000 to support the work, and in particular the training, of Gloucester Cathedral Stonemasons. In February of this year the Cathedral's Development Manager, Margaret Brown, forwarded a report from one such trainee, Paul Synan. It provides a fascinating insight into what the grant has meant to him, and also on his progress in this age old craft.
