We were then treated to a talk from Neill Ricketts, CEO of the local company Versarien based in Longhope in Gloucestershire.
Versarien plc is an advanced engineering materials group. Leveraging proprietary technology, the Group creates innovative engineering solutions for its clients in a diverse range of industries and Neill highlighted the importance of graphene as it is used in many areas of our lives without us knowing about it! He brought examples of the material in various forms and answered many questions before we enjoyed a lovely supper at Cheltenham Ladies College.
