The David Vaisey Prize was awarded at the Cheltenham Literature Festival on Sunday 9 October. The winners were The Tewkesbury Library. It is awarded for an initiative by public libraries in Gloucestershire that leads to more borrowing, reading and discussion of books. The award of £5,000 was presented by Damon Galgut, a previous Booker Prize winner.
