Following an interesting and thought-provoking talk by Chris Ryland, Chair of Trustees of the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, at one of the Company’s Supper Lectures, a number of Honourable Company members agreed that they would go to Paju, South Korea to pay their own respects to the Glorious Glosters at the memorial park there. They will be joined by a party from SoGM and representatives from the business and education community for a friendship visit. The original plan was to go in 2020 but the Covid-19 pandemic interrupted plans. Undaunted, the group hopes to go in April 2023 in the anticipation of the pandemic being well behind us.
