At their December 2023 meeting the Trustees were pleased to award another grant to Cotswold Riding for the Disabled. Their application on this occasion was to help fund 100 riding sessions to be offered to disabled children and adults. The purpose of these sessions is to improve the physical and mental well-being of the riders and enhances quality of life, as the riders learn new skills and gain a sense of affirmation and achievement.
Cotswold RDA is based at Cheltenham Racecourse. Robert Wharton, Trustee, presented the cheque to Cotswold RDA Chairman Tim Baylis and their General Operations Manager, Debbie Powell.
