The Chantry Centre
On Wednesday 8th April Andrew Tabor (pictured left), Chair of the HCG Charitable Trust, presented a cheque for £750 to Adrian Judge of the Chantry Centre in Dursley, to help towards the costs of providing indoor play sessions and subsidised food for young families experiencing cost of living difficulties.
The Chantry Centre provides a venue for a diverse range of community groups such as Diamond Cheerleaders, Junior Table Tennis, Explorer Scouts, Stroud Food Bank, Tyndale Archers, Dursley in Bloom (garden) plus numerous U3A groups. It also supports the local performing arts and offers social activities organised by the Trustees and its volunteers including a Garden Group, Chantry Chatters, Garden Café and Soft Play sessions.
