The David Vaisey Trust

The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire has supported the David Vaisey Trust since its inception in 2016. The Trust now makes awards to state school library projects, in addition to awards to public libraries in the county. This year, we have taken our support a stage further by funding the purchase of a silver cup for the best school library project. Today, we presented that cup to the David Vaisey Trust, in time for their shortlisting ceremony on 9th July.

The first photograph shows the Warden of the Honourable Company, Michael Jones, presenting the new cup to the Chair of the David Vaisey Trust, Debby Thacker. In the second and third photographs, they are joined by Karen Morgan (Chair of the Honourable Company Charitable Trust), John Dougherty (Chair of Judges) and Sir Michael McWilliam (from the Honourable Company).

See davidvaiseyawards.co.uk for further details of the awards, and honcoglos.org for further details about our Company and Trust.
