The HCG Charitable Trustees approved a grant of £800 to The Roses Theatre at their March meeting. The money will help with the costs of their Off Script creative wellbeing programme, which uses theatre and drama-based practice to support young people’s social, emotional and mental health. The project provides a safe, inclusive and empowering space for participants aged 11–16 from Gloucestershire secondary schools, SEN schools and pupil referral units. Through creative play and performance young people develop communication skills, confidence and positive social interaction whilst reducing social anxiety.
