Michael Jones, Assistant Warden and Trustee, presented a grant of £1,000 from the HCG Charitable Trust to theatre works! on 8 October. The photograph shows Dr. Sharon Studer, Chair of theatre works!, receiving the cheque, which Michael was pleased to be able to hand over in the VIP tent at the Cheltenham Literature Festival on yet another wet day.
Whilst the charity works across the UK, this particular grant will be used to fund theatre trips and related educational experiences for up to 100 disadvantaged children from 7 to 16 years of age from Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.
